Yeah.. it's Swedish and should be pronounced Lind-kvist and there is supposed to be a v, not a u like the rest of these guys says.. If anything the only unusual thing about that name is that it is spelled with a q not a k.
How would you say the last name, Lindqvist? I'm pretty should it is swedish or dutch if that helps?
It's Swedish, and it's pronounced "Lind-kvist"
Addition: I just double checked: Kate is right; the usual spelling is "Lindquist", but it is pronounced as I have described above.
